VIOLENT CULTURE - GABRIELLA GIFFORDS

The culture of violence does come from political rhetoric and aggressiveness. But the television and film industry pours guns, knives, swords, explosions, car chases and general mayhem into viewers’ eyes and ears on an hourly basis. Violence is seen as a natural and normal way of settling differences. Whether someone is delusional, immature or just angry, getting a gun and shooting people provide and easy solution to problems. While I deplore the political hate spewing, the media is also part of the climate of violence.
