FREEDOM OF THE PRESS

Thank you San Francisco Chronicle for digging out the story of the murder of Antonio Rodriguez in the Dublin, CA prison. The Alameda County Sheriff’s office did not publicly report the death. The Chronicle’s story shows how dangerous it is for Donald Trump to demean the media. Government officials will often hide and deny facts that the people need to know. Newspapers and other media need the freedom of the press to keep our governments honest.
